ARIZONA WILDFLOWERS

The Arizona Wildflowers are the ‘real deal’. Ranelle 14 (vocals, mandolin & fiddle), Brie 13 (vocals, guitar, fiddle), Aspen 11 (vocals & fiddle), plus their younger siblings Sawyer 8 (vocals, bass & fiddle) and ‘Kitty’ 6 (vocals & fiddle) live, work, and play music on a working ranch in Arizona.

The Wildflowers play a style of Bluegrass and Gospel music, that employs all the classic features of both, yet there is a thread and tone in their music, which has a definite ‘Western’ sound, that may be best described as ‘Western Bluegrass and Gospel’. In a manner of speaking, the Wildflowers express their love of the genres and coincidentally celebrate their Western roots.

The Arizona Wildflowers played in the Silver Dollar City Youth in Bluegrass Festival and recently finished 3^rd out of 10 in an ‘Open Band competition at a ‘Pickin’ In The Pines Festival’, where all the other bands were adult bands. They have also performed in numerous local & regional events, where they are always received with high acclaim. The Wildflowers have at least two EP CDs available, ‘The Arizona Wildflowers 2020’ & ‘I’m Ready To Go’, 2022; plus many videos on Facebook and youtube. For the 2022 Holidays, the Wildflowers have recorded a number of traditional Christmas songs, including ‘Jingle Bells’ which has received over 1.4 Million views on facebook, in just four weeks; as of this writing.

The youngsters are all Homeschooled by their Mama, Tiffany, who also runs the household and manages the band. The Wildflowers do all their chores in the house and on the ranch, which includes caring for their own horses. They are also very active in their Church. They all practice the Fiddle daily, as they have been and are Fiddle champions in their age divisions. This includes Ranelle being an 8-time Arizona State Champion and Sawyer is the current National Small-Fry Champion.

They all ride almost every day, as they regularly compete in Rodeo Barrel Riding events and have won numerous championships. Somehow, they still find time to practice their songs as a dedicated and active Bluegrass & Gospel band. Nobody works any harder with their talents, except maybe their daddy, Shane, who works 60-70 hours per week.
