The 7 Mile Bluegrass Band traces its roots back to 2004 when two friends, guided by Billy, the eventual band leader, embarked on a musical journey. What began as a small collaboration soon blossomed into a larger ensemble as new members were added to complement the duo’s hard-driving sound that resonated with audiences.
By 2015, the band had significantly expanded their reach and were able to procure an entire summer’s worth of shows. The dedication and hard work put in by the band members paid off handsomely as they were invited back to nearly every event for the subsequent 2016 season, underlining their popularity and the enjoyment they brought to listeners.

The band’s latest album, “How Many Heartbreaks”, showcases the songwriting prowess of lead vocalist Billy Self. His contributions to the album are pivotal, as he performs lead vocals for several tracks. Shirley Siem also provides her vocal expertise on the album, adding to the band’s dynamic range.
